A Cabin in the Woods
Hello again! After a good night's sleep, and flattening out my folds, I was ready to explore!
I am staying in a cabin outside of the little town of Strasburg. That's me in the window!
Do you see the big hill behind the cabin? That is named Signal Knob. Larry told me that it got that name during the Civil War. A General climbed to the top and sent smoke signals to let his troops know where they should go next. A lot of battles were fought in this area, so people here know their Civil War history very well.
Tomorrow, Larry is going to take me to where he works. He's an actor at a little theater about 10 miles from here. See you tomorrow!
